FIS
What investors can hold a FIS?
A Luxembourg FIS can be held exclusively by informed investors in the meaning of the FIS Act.
They are:
- institutional investors and professional investors;
- any other investor that stated his adherence to the informed investor status in writing, and
- who invests at least EUR 125,000 in the Luxembourg FIS or
- who has an appreciation, by a loan establishment, an investment company or a management company certifying his expertise, his experience and his knowledge to appreciate adequately the investment made in the Luxembourg FIS.
